Astrid’s chosen images for this show is from the series ‘Holi’. It was taken during the Holi festival in 2010 at the Hare Krishna temple in Hertfortshire, UK. Roopen, the young man in the picture, was one out of many Hindu worshipers, who came into Astrid’s makeshift studio during the festival to have his portrait taken.
